Digital Infrastructure for Research & Piloting in Care (Widening Country)

CEO at Vincentia

Zagreb, Croatia

About

Vincentia offers a digital living lab designed to support research, innovation, and pilot implementations in home-based care, operating at the intersection of health, social care, and workforce sustainability.

The platform provides a real-world environment where care delivery models can be observed, tested, and refined outside institutional settings. Through verified caregiver networks, structured care workflows, communication tools, and longitudinal work logging, Vincentia enables consistent and traceable care interactions between families and care professionals. All data generation is designed to be GDPR-compliant, anonymised, and suitable for research use.

From a Horizon Europe perspective, Vincentia functions as:

  • an infrastructure partner enabling real-life testing of care models,

  • a living lab or pilot site located in a Widening country (Croatia),

  • and a data-generating environment supporting applied research and evaluation.

The platform is suitable for projects addressing topics such as:

  • long-term care reform and workforce sustainability,

  • care continuity and retention of professional and informal caregivers,

  • digital support tools for informal carers,

  • integration of health and social care in community settings,

  • and reduction of inefficiencies in care delivery.

Vincentia is not positioned as a clinical or diagnostic system, nor as a policy authority. Instead, it complements academic, clinical, and public-sector partners by reducing implementation risk and enabling longitudinal, real-world evidence generation.

The Croatian MVP is scheduled to be operational from March 2026, aligning with Horizon Europe 2026–2027 project timelines. Vincentia seeks collaboration with research institutions, care providers, public authorities, and innovation consortia as a contributing partner, pilot site, or technical infrastructure provider.
