Building Climate-Resilient and Prepared Health Systems through Leadership and Systemic Capacity Building
Climate and Health Program Manager at The Heschel Center For Sustainability
Tel-Aviv, Israel
About
The Heschel Center for Sustainability works at the intersection of climate change, health systems, and public governance, with a focus on strengthening institutional preparedness and resilience. In the context of ENVHLTH-04, we offer expertise in leadership development, cross-sectoral capacity building, and the integration of climate considerations into health system planning and operations, while actively supporting research to policy processes.
Through our Climate Health Leadership Program, we engage senior decision-makers in healthcare systems to translate climate resilience concepts into concrete organizational practices. We see strong potential to collaborate with European partners on system-level pilots, preparedness frameworks, and One Health-oriented interventions that link health services, communities, and environmental systems, while supporting carbon aware and resilient healthcare strategies.
