Climate Health Knowledge into System Preparedness and Capacity Building
Climate and Health Program Manager at The Heschel Center For Sustainability
Tel-Aviv, Israel
About
The Heschel Center for Sustainability brings extensive experience in translating climate–health knowledge into actionable system preparedness. While ENVHLTH-01 focuses on advancing the scientific understanding of climate change impacts on health, we aim to complement research activities by strengthening the interface between evidence, policy, and implementation.
Our contribution includes leadership training for senior health system actors, capacity building for climate-health governance, and the development of tools and processes that support anticipation, preparedness, and decision-making under climate uncertainty. We are particularly interested in collaborating with international partners to embed One Health and Planetary Health perspectives into research dissemination, stakeholder engagement, and policy uptake components of the project.
