About

Tepebaşı Municipality is a proactive local authority in Türkiye with extensive experience in climate action, sustainable urban development, and environmental transparency, including active participation in international platforms such as CDP. In addition, the municipality has been involved in several European Union-funded projects, gaining valuable experience in international collaboration, project management, and implementation.

The municipality has carried out a wide range of initiatives in renewable energy, energy-efficient buildings, climate adaptation, and citizen-oriented sustainability practices. Through these efforts, Tepebaşı has developed strong technical capacity and a collaborative approach to innovation.

Within the scope of the CET (Clean Energy Transition) framework, Tepebaşı Municipality is able to provide suitable physical infrastructure, including pilot buildings, and offer a real-life urban environment for research, testing, and demonstration activities. The municipality is open to partnerships for developing and implementing innovative solutions, supporting applied research, and scaling up successful practices in clean energy and sustainability.

We are looking forward to engaging with partners and contributing actively to joint initiatives through the Matchmaker platform.
