Seeking partners for HORIZON-CL4-2026-04-DIGITAL-EMERGING-19: Challenge-Driven GenAI4EU Booster
Innovation & Design Researcher at Challenge Works
London, United Kingdom
About
We are forming a consortium to respond to the Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Action (RIA) GenAI4EU Booster in the pharmaceutical sector. Our goal is to transform real-world drug discovery bottlenecks with a focus on Neurodegenerative Diseases into high-impact "Challenges" to be solved. By acting as a neutral orchestrator, we will enable pharmaceutical companies and drug developers to safely engage with the European GenAI startup ecosystem to accelerate their R&D pipelines.
What We Offer:
-
Proven "Challenge" Framework: We provide the administrative engine to manage the full lifecycle of the program, including vetting, high-quality judging panels, and the distribution of Financial Support to Third Parties (FSTP).
-
Consortium Management: Deep experience in leading multi-stakeholder programs, including governance, compliance, and reporting for large-scale innovation actions.
-
Neutral Innovation Brokerage: We act as a firewall between industry and AI developers, ensuring IP and data security while maximizing the quality of the generated AI solutions.
Partner Search:
We are urgently seeking pharmaceutical / drug development industry partners to help define the real-world R&D bottlenecks that the program will work to solve. Partners can engage flexibly, including:
-
Defining Use Cases: Shaping the technical challenges included in the proposal.
-
Data Provision: Contributing datasets (e.g., clinical records, imaging, omics data) or platform services for model fine-tuning.
-
Expert Mentorship: Providing in-kind support through technical expertise or infrastructure for participants.
-
Ecosystem Visibility: Supporting outreach to attract top-tier AI developers and SMEs to the challenge.
