MUSES9-SNS, 4K spatial resolution, smart, snapshot spectral imager
Product Manager at Spectricon

About
The MUSES9-SNS snapshot spectral imager is engineered to minimize the usual trade-offs between spectral, spatial, and temporal resolution that are common in commercial spectral imagers. This advanced device employs reflective filtering and image-splitting optics to project a customizable sequence of narrowband images onto dedicated imaging sensors. Their output signals are multiplexed and sent through a single USB 3.1 cable, which also powers the camera. By maximizing the use of available bandwidth, the camera can capture up to 40 frames per second at full spatial resolution. Additionally, sophisticated ultrafast spectral classification algorithms run concurrently with video capture, allowing for real-time, side-by-side display of color images, spectral images, and both supervised and unsupervised classification maps.
