InSpect, UHD snapshot spectral imaging endoscope
Chief Technology Officer at QCELL IKE
Chania, Greece
About
State-of-the art HSI technologies sacrifice either the spatial information or require prolonged scanning times to obtain the spectral information, while, at the same time, they are bulky, weighty and expensive systems. In endoscopy, however, video rate handheld cameras, offering ultrahigh resolution imaging is a significant accomplishment. Compromising this performance by integrating suboptimal HSI solutions cannot be acceptable to modern clinical practices.
QCELL has advanced HSI technology to meet the high spatial and temporal standards of modern endoscopy with no compromises. Looking to the future, the inSpect endoscopy camera technology introduces the spectral imaging-powered AI concept, with great potential to revolutionize endoscopic and surgical practices worldwide.
The inSpect endoscopy workstation acquires and simultaneously displays a plurality of narrow band images, spanning both the visible and the near infrared (NIR) spectrum. The inSpect’s NIR fluorescence spectral imaging capacity makes it ready for ICG and other tumor-specific fluorophore imaging agents (e.g. OTL38).
