In endoscopy, however, video rate handheld cameras, offering ultrahigh resolution imaging is a significant accomplishment. Compromising this performance by integrating suboptimal HSI solutions cannot be acceptable to modern clinical practices.

The inSpect endoscopy workstation acquires and simultaneously displays a plurality of narrow band images, spanning both the visible and the near infrared (NIR) spectrum. The inSpect’s NIR fluorescence spectral imaging capacity makes it ready for ICG and other tumor-specific fluorophore imaging agents (e.g. OTL38).
