Lucia co-founded research NGO PedaVita and the registered social enterprise Živá Záhrada with long-term goal of restoring the microbiome and biodiversity of soils in Slovakia and beyond. She analyzes the biological properties of soil and compost with an optical microscope, is an independent agricultural consultant of the AKIS system, a student of soil microbiologist Dr. Elaine Ingham and the Soil Food Web Inc. school, a scientific researcher at the Food Research Institute of the NPPC, co-founded the Slovak Composting Association - KOMPAS, is a professional member of the Association for Regenerative Agriculture, and in the past managed transnational system integration and change projects.
