Dr. Bahar Divrik is an academic and industry expert with 27 years of combined experience, including 20 years in textile, apparel, and retail management, and 7 years in academia. She holds a Ph.D. in Management & Strategy from Medipol University, an MSc in Textile Management from the University of Leeds, and a BA in Business Administration from Boğaziçi University. Since July 2024, she has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Business Administration (English) Department at Istinye University. Her industry background includes executive leadership roles at Madame Coco, Katia & Bony, and Mayoral International Stores. Her research focuses on international business, strategy, textile management, digitalization, and SME internationalization. She has authored several academic publications in indexed journals and presented at international conferences. Dr. Divrik combines practical insights with academic knowledge, providing students with a rich, interdisciplinary learning experience. She is fluent in English and has a strong track record in bridging academia and industry through education and applied research.
