About
SIFO has several years of experience with national and international representative surveys on food habits and with collecting and analyzing data on perceptions, practices, and consumption patterns across different demographic groups, including generational and socio-economic differences, as well as rural/urban aspects.
Has analysed eating habits and to what extent consumers are willing to reduce meat consumption. In addition, our researchers have examined consumers’ knowledge and attitudes towards products containing plant-based proteins. The institute has had yearly surveys on consumer eating habits and preferences, incl. GMO food during the last 20 years.
