About
We are seeking to join a consortium for the Horizon Europe call HORIZON-CL6-2025-01-CIRCBIO-05, aiming to contribute as a research and development partner in the circular bio-based transformation of food and feed systems.
We have expertise in valorising food and agro-industrial by-products into sustainable feed ingredients specifically targeted at monogastric animals such as poultry and pigs. We are particularly focused on:
-
Developing functional feeds with additives from side-streams
-
Assessments of feed safety and quality through laboratory analyses;
-
Conducting in vivo trials at the farm level, performance evaluations, feed efficiency and animal health and welfare;
-
Evaluation of nutritional quality of animal products (meat, eggs, milk, among others)
-
Aplication of different chemical analyses, to asses the improvement of the animal derived products (nutritional, fat quality, antioxidants, shelf-life);
-
Contributing to environmental impact analysis
As a partner, we bring experience in different projects and strong capabilities in experimental design, feed formulation, livestock trials and food analyses. We are looking to collaborate with coordinators and consortia developing innovative waste valorisation strategies or cross-sectoral food-feed innovations.
