About
We seek partners to create a consortium which give the oportunity to elaborate strategies for using food and drink industries wastes to formulate next-generation compound feeds for farm animals.
Our role in project is to design nutritionally balanced and environmentally responsible feed recipes that support animal health, productivity, and end product quality.
Our team offer the posibility to perform in vivo feeding trials on poultry, pigs, goats, in which several dietary strategies including different novel feed additives (food and drink industries by-products) can be assessed in order to find efficient dietary solutions to improve eggs/meat/milk quality.
- feed resources evaluation and diet composition analysis
- the effects of experimental diets on farm-scale animal performance, health, and animal products nutritional quality
· Effects on animal performances
· Effects on animal health
· Effects on quality of animal products (eggs/meat/milk). Nutritional quality assessment (hydrosoluble compounds (polyphenols profile), liposoluble compounds (vitamins and carotenoids), fatty acids profile, minerals)
