About
The "Novel Food Consumer Awareness" project aims to enhance public understanding and acceptance of novel foods, particularly those derived from innovative technologies such as cellular agriculture, precise fermentation and alternative proteins. By conducting comprehensive research, we will identify consumer perceptions, concerns, and knowledge gaps regarding these foods. The project will involve developing targeted educational campaigns and resources to inform consumers about the safety, nutritional benefits, and environmental impacts of novel foods. Additionally, we will engage stakeholders, including policymakers, food industry representatives, and health professionals, to foster a collaborative approach in promoting informed choices. Ultimately, the goal is to empower consumers with the knowledge they need to make confident decisions about incorporating novel foods into their diets, thereby supporting food security and sustainability in the context of One Health principles.
We are representing research institution, looking for partners from business & academia with complementary expertise in sustainable food systems, innovations, and technology developers. We would like to create sustainable & safe food systems.
