About
SIFO is currently WP lead in the ERA project FOOdiverse, which aims to produce practice-oriented knowledge on how diversity in diets, novel food supply chains and food governance contributes to more organic and sustainable food systems. The project provides multi-level perspectives on transforming local food systems across Europe by promoting diversity of consumers, producers and key stakeholders.
SIFO previously led the HERA-project Food2gather, using food as a medium for social inclusion and cultural integration. The project focuses on vulnerable groups to enhance participation and cohesion with foodscapes as the mean for integration.
Partner/WP lead in the H2020 project FUSILLI, which goal is to overcome barriers for developing and implementing integrated, systemic food policies that support the transition towards sustainable food systems in urban, peri-urban and nearby rural areas. Methods: Living labs, experimental methods, best practice sharing between 10 European cities (Oslo municipality being one)
