About

GATE 2026 – Global Africa Trade Expo (Project Description)

GATE 2026 is a high-impact Africa-focused trade and investment platform designed to connect African businesses, governments, and institutions with global investors, buyers, and strategic partners.

Now scheduled for October 2026, GATE is being repositioned as a more inclusive and globally accessible platform, ensuring stronger participation and deeper engagement across Africa–U.S. and international markets.

Building on the momentum of the WTCA Global Business Forum, GATE moves beyond dialogue to execution—facilitating real partnerships, market access, and investment opportunities across key sectors including agribusiness, manufacturing, energy, technology, creative industries, and logistics.

The platform will feature:

  • Curated B2B and B2G matchmaking

  • Investment and deal rooms

  • Country and state pavilions

  • Diaspora trade and distribution networks

  • High-level policy and private sector engagement

GATE is not positioned as a traditional expo, but as a deal-driven marketplace where African opportunity meets global capital and demand.

We are currently engaging strategic partners across the WTCA network and beyond to co-create a platform that delivers measurable trade and investment outcomes.
