AERO FOOD — Automated Aeroponic Feed Production for Livestock

AERO FOOD is an automated controlled-environment aeroponic system for producing fresh animal feed locally for livestock.

The problem is that livestock producers often depend on imported feed, large areas of agricultural land, water availability and stable weather. In dry regions, islands or places with weak supply chains, this becomes a serious risk.

AERO FOOD is designed to make feed production more local, predictable and resilient. We have already built and operated a full-scale machine in the Middle East, near the Dead Sea, under demanding climatic conditions.

The original concept and initial testing were focused on cattle feed, especially for dairy and beef production. However, the technology can be adapted to different livestock applications, including cattle, poultry and sheep. The next step is to redesign, validate and commercialise the European and international version of the technology.

For me, AERO FOOD is not only a machine for one use case. It is a controlled-environment production tool. The first commercial application is fresh feed for livestock, but future applications may include aquaculture feed, plant protein production and other controlled cultivation systems.

Strengthening Europe’s food security is the first step. Europe can become a reference market and distribution hub before scaling the technology to regions facing unstable food supply chains, limited water, limited land and difficult conditions for animal farming.
