About

Full description

I'm looking for the kind of cofounder I'd actually want to grab a glass of wine with after a long pitch day — not because that's a nice-to-have, but because building a company in this space means living inside European agricultural culture, and I want someone who genuinely loves it, not just studies it.

The role Business Cofounder & Head of Commercial Strategy. You own go-to-market, pilot farm and cooperative partnerships, and domain direction for the product. Equal stake, equal say, equal upside — this is a cofounder seat, not an advisory chair.

Who you are You've spent real time in viticulture, agronomy, or crop protection — maybe you've stood in a vineyard at 6am arguing with a grower about spray timing, maybe you've sat across a cooperative table negotiating olive oil contracts, maybe you've watched a harvest get rejected over a paperwork technicality and thought "this is insane, there has to be a better way." That frustration is exactly why I built FarmOps.

You understand instinctively what makes Europe Europe — why a Greek olive grove and a Hungarian vineyard and a Bulgarian orchard all carry centuries of accumulated knowledge that no spreadsheet was ever built to capture, and why farmers trust a handshake long before they trust an app. You can talk terroir, PDO certification politics, or why everyone has an opinion about the "right" way to prune, and you genuinely enjoy that conversation rather than tolerating it.

What we'll actually do together We'll sit in vineyards and greenhouses, not just boardrooms. We'll argue about whether a feature actually matters to a real grower or just looks good in a pitch deck — and you'll usually win that argument, because you'll have the field truth I don't. We'll celebrate every pilot farm that says yes like it's a Champions League win, because at this stage, it basically is. And somewhere between the EU compliance frameworks and the cooperative negotiations, we'll find time to actually enjoy the culture we're building inside — good wine, good olive oil, good food, the things that make this industry worth fighting for in the first place.

What you bring Genuine domain expertise in viticulture, agronomy, or crop protection. Real grower, cooperative, or buyer relationships across Southern or Eastern Europe. A taste for this culture that's personal, not performative.

What I bring Electronics engineering background, a working AI-built product, EU programme backing through EIT Food's TeamUp, and a growth/GTM network through Alphagenerator spanning Techstars, NVIDIA's VC Alliance, and J.P. Morgan's program in association with a16z. The product is done. I need the partner who makes the rest of Europe's farms believe in it.

Why this, why now We have a live demo that lands every time — a real PHI compliance conflict caught before it becomes a rejected shipment. The gap isn't the tech. It's finding the person who can walk into a cooperative and be trusted in under five minutes, because that trust took them a lifetime to build. If that's you, let's open a bottle and talk.
