WasteLess – Digital Food Waste Monitoring for Sustainable Hospitality

Dagmar Pečovnik

Head of hotel development at Eurotas Hoteli d.o.o.

Celje, Slovenia

About

Our main challenge will be to ensure that digital food waste monitoring becomes a consistent daily practice in busy hotel kitchens. Staff engagement, accurate data entry, and smooth integration with existing workflows will require careful training and follow-up. Another challenge will be scaling the system beyond pilot sites while keeping data quality and user motivation high.
