About

ITECAM (the Industrial Technology Centre of Castilla-La Mancha) supports industry in the adoption of advanced digital technologies, integrating AI—including generative AI—for design, analytics, and process optimisation; virtual and augmented reality and digital twins for training, metrology, and prototyping; collaborative robotics in production environments; and experimental support through FEM simulation, additive manufacturing, materials characterisation, metrology, and 3D scanning to validate prototypes and in-plant pilots with full results traceability.

Its Industrial Skills School delivers dual training and specialised courses in emerging technologies (AI, VR/AR, data analytics, cybersecurity, and collaborative robots), while also incorporating deep-tech modules in quantum computing aimed at technical profiles and VET/adult learners, within an open and continuously updated training programme.

As a leading industrial cluster in Castilla-La Mancha, ITECAM coordinates the region’s largest industrial network and provides technology matchmaking, multi-company pilots, supplier–end-user integration, and agile knowledge transfer from laboratory to factory floor. According to updated internal data, the cluster brings together more than 370 member companies; public sources cite “over 350”, and 365 associated companies were reported in 2025, reflecting sustained growth.

In addition, ITECAM collaborates on R&D and training projects with groups and companies working with disadvantaged communities and social inclusion organisations, implementing initiatives in rural areas (e.g. ideathons and pilot actions applying AI and immersive technologies to inclusive development and employability).
