Windcoop: Leading the Transition to Wind-Powered Shipping Windcoop is the first citizen-led shipping cooperative (SCIC) dedicated to carbon-neutral maritime transport. We operate innovative sailing cargo ships to drastically reduce $CO\_{2}$ emissions and fossil fuel dependency. Our unique model empowers cargo owners and citizens to reclaim control over the supply chain through transparent and sustainable governance. he Miaraka, our first vessel, is currently under development with technical oversight and ship management provided by our partner Zéphyr & Borée. By combining cutting-edge naval engineering with the social and solidarity economy, we provide a resilient alternative to conventional shipping. Our goal is to prove that a large-scale, low-carbon maritime industry is not just a vision, but a commercial reality.
