About

MetaBioGel is a novel class of bio-derived, tunable vibration-damping materials developed to improve the performance and sustainability of engineered systems. Vibration is a widespread challenge across industries, contributing to reduced product lifetimes, increased energy consumption, and higher maintenance costs.

Our technology leverages hydrogel-based materials derived from water and locally sourced bio-based components to create damping systems that can be tailored to specific vibration frequencies. This enables effective vibration control without compromising mechanical performance, overcoming a key limitation of conventional materials.

By reducing reliance on fossil-based polymers, MetaBioGel helps de-risk supply chains while supporting more sustainable manufacturing. Its lightweight nature also contributes to lower material usage and reduced lifecycle emissions.

Rather than supplying raw materials, MetaBioGel is designed as a platform for engineered components, such as vibration-isolation mounts and acoustic damping layers, that can be directly integrated into products. Initial applications include household appliances and audio systems, where high production volumes enable rapid adoption.

MetaBioGel offers a scalable pathway to quieter, longer-lasting, and more resource-efficient products.
