Focused Ultrasonic Technology for Chemical-Free Water Treatment
Global Business Development Manager at FUST Lab
Seoul, South Korea
About
FUST Lab is a technology startup and spin-off from the Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science, developing advanced ultrasonic solutions for water treatment and environmental applications. The company specializes in focused ultrasonic systems capable of generating a 360° ultrasonic field within pipe-type structures, enabling uniform energy distribution in flowing liquids. Based on this platform, FUST Lab has developed CAVITOX, an innovative focused ultrasonic technology designed for advanced water treatment processes. The system enables continuous cavitation in liquid flows, allowing contaminants to be treated without the need for additional chemicals. This makes the technology particularly promising for addressing difficult pollutants such as PFAS and other persistent contaminants. By enabling chemical-free and energy-efficient treatment, FUST Lab contributes to more sustainable water management solutions for municipalities and industrial users. FUST Lab is seeking collaboration with water utilities, environmental technology companies, research institutions, and industrial partners interested in pilot projects, demonstrations, and technology partnerships for advanced water treatment applications.
