Director at GIVMED
Athens, Greece
About
GIVMED is a non-profit organization leveraging technology to ensure equitable access to medicines and health products for socially vulnerable groups. Through its unique digital network (MEDforNGOs), GIVMED connects individuals, companies, and non-profits, enabling structured donation and redistribution of unused medicines and healthcare items.
Since its founding in 2016, GIVMED has redistributed over 1.5 million products worth more than €15.9 million, collaborating with 239 charitable organizations, 55 pharmaceutical companies, and thousands of citizens.
The initiative supports institutional development, education, and public awareness around access to medicines, contributing to social sustainability and the health-related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). GIVMED has partnered with prominent organizations such as UNICEF, UN, the World Economic Forum, EEA Grants, and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
GIVMED seeks collaboration with NGOs, healthcare institutions, companies with surplus medicines, and technology partners interested in scalable, tech-enabled solutions for equitable healthcare access.
