Development of autonomous ROV for low-impact underwater plastic removal
President & Founder – Association Recyclamer at Recyclamer
Saint junien, France
About
RRecyclamer has developed Mr Turbino, a patented low-pressure underwater plastics and microplastics collection system validated in real operational conditions (TRL 8–9).
We are now developing its next evolution: an autonomous ROV-based system designed for low-impact underwater plastic removal in coastal and shallow marine ecosystems.
Building on the proven pneumatic vortex-lifting principle (0.5–25m depth), the objective is to integrate autonomous navigation, selective debris detection and environmental monitoring, while maintaining ecosystem-safe operation.
We are seeking research institutions, robotics laboratories, marine engineers and industrial partners for Horizon Europe and LIFE consortium development.
The goal is to create a scalable, energy-efficient and ecosystem-safe ROV solution capable of preventing plastic fragmentation before microplastic dispersion.
Detailed technical elements are shared under NDA within structured collaborations.
