Mr Turbino – Low-pressure underwater plastics & microplastics collection system (0–25m)

Mr Turbino is a patented low-pressure underwater plastics and microplastics collection system designed for coastal and shallow marine ecosystems (0.5–25m depth).

The system uses controlled intermittent compressed air (≤0.35 bar) to generate a lifting vortex without mechanical pumps, minimizing disturbance to marine fauna and seabeds while preventing plastic fragmentation and microplastic accumulation.

Validated in real operational conditions (TRL 8–9), Mr Turbino is suitable for ports, marinas, coastal municipalities and dive centers seeking practical and measurable marine pollution prevention solutions.

The technology integrates with Ocean Tracker, a digital platform providing real-time environmental traceability, impact reporting and ESG-aligned data transparency.

We are seeking pilot sites, port authorities and technical partners for European deployment and collaborative projects within Horizon Europe and LIFE frameworks.
