Bio-based Energy & Materials Innovation

Research Scientist at Empa-Materials Science and Technology

Dübendorf, Switzerland

About

I am a research scientist at Empa working at the intersection of fungal biotechnology, bio-based materials and sustainable energy systems. My research focuses on developing fungal biobatteries and cellulose-based functional materials using hydrophobins and nanocellulose.

At this event, I am particularly interested in understanding who is currently working across bioenergy, biomaterials and organic electronics, and how different groups are approaching sustainable technology development. I welcome conversations to exchange perspectives and explore emerging directions in the field.
