MycoFab is an innovative startup aimed at establishing sustainable circular economies by harnessing the potential of mycelium-based technologies. We transform agricultural residues into valuable materials such as packaging materials, lightweight construction components, and furnitures. At the end of their lifecycle, these products are reintegrated into the production system, minimizing waste and ensuring resource efficiency. We are focusing on developing region-specific fungal strains optimized for local agricultural byproducts through synthetic biology and advanced biotechnologies. Decentralized, modular production hubs will serve as collection points for agricultural residues and small-scale manufacturing centers for mycelium products, fostering economic development in underserved areas.
