Pilot Project for Radiant Glass Heating Solutions

Helio Heating glass solves multiple problems in one product. Our glass provides low U value double or triple glazing solutions and efficient electric heating via an invisible membrane in the glass - all in one solution.

The advantages?

• Because our heating solution heats objects through radiant heat rather than heating the air space in a room, the ambient temperature can be kept at a lower level (saving energy).

• The glass is kept just above dew point, which eliminates troublesome condensation and mould growth in rooms.

• Activation lag times are very short (just minutes) which allows room heating to be programmed intelligently to match actual occupancy patterns, rather than having to continually maintain higher (and costlier) temperature levels.

• Installation of Helio Heating is often as easy as exchanging glass panes in existing frames, which is vastly less disruptive and invasive than installing heat pumps.

• In many cases, radiators can be done away with all together, freeing up wall space and creating much more flexibility in design of spaces.

Helio Heating glass has been on the market in Hungary for more than 10 years and is tried and tested as a viable solution in the Hungarian domestic market. We are now seeking partners in other European and UK markets to help us demonstrate and test the product in local conditions and then develop commercialisation strategies.
