Offering a location as demonstration site / Light house / (part of) Living Lab

Dear reader,

We are located in the dry south of Portugal, the rural Alentejo, where we have a 9 hectares property. The purpose of our property is to be a Living Lab where we can demonstrate small scale projects, related to permaculture, biodiversity, healthy soil and watermanagement. We have a business and academic background, providing students and researchers with knowledge and facilities. As we are no farmers, our property is available for scientific and other research projects.

On our land, we have a wide diversity of flora and fauna, all of which already has been counted and registered in a base-line measurement of the biodiversity on our land. Because of this, the impact of new projects can be measured relatively easy.

So, in case you are looking for a partner, with land, in the mediterranean/semi-arid climate of Portugal, don't hesitate to contact us. We have experience in being active members of consortia.
