Seeking investment for a green pilot project in a significant Innovation District

The project kicks off with the leaf collection within the district using our Dynamic Nantoo_biocycle System. It includes new submission methodologies operated with smart bins equipped with IOT sensors supplied by a leading industry partner. The cycle concludes with the transformation and extraction of molecules from biomasses, mimicking on a smaller scale the processes of the new Upcycling Green Supply Chain, LeafCycle. This creates a virtuous and circular Smart City model. The goal is to experiment with process stages and conduct biotechnological research for the production of innovative bio-based materials and solutions.

We have been allocated space within the District to set up our R&D lab. Here, we will initiate tests and experiments with the support of a Dutch startup specializing in upcycling cellulosic waste. The initial tests on paper produced from leaves have yielded very promising results, and we plan to expand research to molecules and other new-generation bio-based materials.

For the development of the Proof of Concept (POC), we are seeking investors and partner companies interested in participating, also considering Open Innovation approaches.

Un importante Distretto dell'Innovazione ha manifestato forte interesse per le innovative soluzioni proposte da Nantoo e LeafCycle nel campo della raccolta e valorizzazione delle foglie e ha richiesto un progetto pilota completo.

Il progetto inizia con la raccolta delle foglie all'interno del distretto con il nostro Sistema Dinamico Nantoo_biocycle, comprende nuove metodologie di conferimento operate con cassonetti smart dotati di sensori IOT forniti da un'azienda partner leader del settore. Il ciclo si completa con la trasformazione e l'estrazione delle molecole dalle biomasse, per riprodurre in scala ridotta i processi della nuova Filiera del verde di Upcycling LeafCycle e creando, quindi, un modello virtuoso e circolare di Smart City. L'obiettivo è sia la sperimentazione delle fasi di processo, che la ricerca biotecnologica per la produzione di materiali e soluzioni innovative biobased.

Siamo assegnatari di uno spazio all'interno del Distretto per allestire il nostro laboratorio R&D. In questo luogo, avvieremo test e sperimentazioni, con il supporto di una startup olandese esperta in upcycling di rifiuti cellulosici. Abbiamo già ottenuto risultati molto promettenti dai test iniziali di carta prodotta dalle foglie e pianifichiamo di ampliare la ricerca a molecole e altri materiali biobased di nuova generazione.

Per lo sviluppo del Proof of Concept (POC), si ricercano investitori e aziende partner interessate a partecipazioni, anche in ottica di Open Innovation.
