AI based solution for Women Practicing Sport inside Cities
Chief Development Officer at Insports Eurolatam Hub (Program: Sport & Smart City)
Barcelona, Spain
About
"ith a group of private-public orgs & global agencies like PNUD, we are developing a AI based solution for women performing sports in city. The goals are to make a safer city, to create an effective connection from the city & gather data to improve urban strategies.
So far the painc button is not enough, as is difficult to operate in a stress moment. Moreover, acting on the emergency moment is just a small part of the solution, while the real problem is the lack of strategies based on evidence and a deep understanding of what the gender violence is. This solutions integrates sport as the perfect tool to create an organic connection with women and working on a community based program so in each corner, a woman practing sport will find a safe and friendly place to arrive, not only in case of emergency, but in their daily rouitines.
