KUN Global Community

KnowUrbanNet is an independent urban think tank and global community connecting people, knowledge and ideas to shape better cities and territories.

We bring together professionals, researchers, academics, public institutions and emerging urban thinkers from different countries and disciplines, creating a collaborative space where knowledge can be shared, challenged and transformed into action.

Our ambition goes beyond traditional research. KnowUrbanNet is conceived as a global network for urban knowledge exchange, bridging research and practice and connecting local experiences with international perspectives. We believe that many of today’s urban challenges — from climate resilience and housing to inclusion, mobility, governance and technological transformation — require knowledge to travel across disciplines, institutions and geographies.

Through research, publications, conversations, events and collaborative initiatives, we aim to identify emerging urban challenges, explore innovative approaches and make relevant knowledge accessible to those shaping cities.

At the heart of KnowUrbanNet is the idea of community: an open and evolving network where different voices and experiences contribute to a shared understanding of the urban future. Rather than promoting a single model for cities, we seek to connect diverse contexts, encourage critical thinking and facilitate the exchange of ideas that can inspire meaningful change.

We look for a consultant which is expert in the creation of digital network and engaging communities to help us in a pilot project tailored to our available budget. Then, depending on progress, we can scalate it in subsequent phases.

A presentation for further information on the challenge is facilitated within this challenge card.

Think globally. Learn collectively. Transform locally.
