Arctic Industries is a Norwegian startup and SME developing waste management process technology for more efficient pre-treatment and sorting of packaged food waste. Our proprietary RESURA technology is a process line that separates packaged food waste into clean plastic and food waste fractions for further processing. By separating these fractions early in the waste management chain, we increase the share of plastic that can be recycled while reducing the plastic contamination of the food waste used as substrate for biogas and biofertiliser production. The result is higher-value recyclable plastic, cleaner biogas feedstock, and less material sent to incineration - turning a problematic waste stream into clean, recyclable raw materials.
