On-Site Pilot Project for Solar Vitrification of Industrial Waste
CTO at HELIOSAND
MARSEILLE, France
About
Heliosand is looking for industrial partners to launch an on-site pilot project using its solar vitrification technology for the treatment of industrial waste and by-products.
The pilot would be deployed directly on the partner’s site with a Heliosand solar vitrification unit capable of treating up to 5,000 tonnes per year of waste materials. The objective is to demonstrate how contaminated or complex residues can be transformed through a low-carbon, solar-powered process into a safer, more stable and potentially valuable output.
This project cooperation is designed for companies seeking practical solutions to reduce waste-related costs, improve environmental performance and strengthen regulatory compliance. By testing the technology at industrial scale, partners can assess its technical, economic and environmental impact on their own waste streams and operations.
The final goal is to create a positive outcome for the partner’s activity: reducing liabilities, improving resource recovery, lowering environmental impact and supporting a more sustainable industrial model.
