Heliosand develops high-temperature solar technologies that transform industrial and hazardous waste into inert, reusable and low-carbon mineral resources.

Using concentrated solar energy, our vitrification process treats complex waste streams without relying on fossil fuels. The resulting material can be reused in the construction industry as a substitute for aggregates, sand and part of the cement used in concrete.

Heliosand supports industrial partners throughout the entire development process, including waste characterization, laboratory testing, feasibility studies, pilot projects and the deployment of industrial solar treatment units.

We are looking to collaborate with industrial waste producers, cement and concrete manufacturers, construction groups, technology partners and organisations committed to the circular economy.
