Södra is Sweden’s largest forest-owner association, founded in 1938 and owned by more than 50,000 family forest owners. We process renewable raw material from our members’ responsibly managed forests into sustainable products and solutions for customers in Sweden and international markets. Södra Building Systems specializes in cross-laminated timber (CLT) for modern, resource-efficient construction. From our production facility in Värö, Sweden, we supply high-quality CLT solutions for residential, commercial, industrial and public buildings. Combining access to renewable Swedish wood with modern industrial production and expertise in timber construction, we support faster and more resource-efficient building methods. We see strong potential to contribute to Ukraine’s reconstruction by supplying scalable, prefabricated timber solutions for new housing, healthcare facilities schools, public buildings and other essential infrastructure.
