The requirements for outdoor space projects are becoming increasingly complex and often call for an integrated project approach. With our experienced, interdisciplinary team of landscape architects and civil engineers specializing in urban water management and waste management—supplemented as needed by long-standing network partners—we are able to offer all outdoor space planning services from a single source.

In addition to traditional open-space planning, we also offer planning for functional traffic areas—such as those at production sites—and handle all aspects of drainage planning (sewage and stormwater sewers), whether connecting to the public sewer system or, in the case of stormwater, discharging into a body of water. We also handle the sizing and design of grease traps for wastewater containing grease.

Our team includes DWA-certified site drainage planners, enabling us to develop well-founded drainage concepts even for large-scale construction projects that ensure sustainable and flood-resistant solutions. In line with the planning principles of a water-sensitive city, we place great importance on allowing as much of the collected stormwater as possible to infiltrate the ground.

A key advantage lies in the close integration of open-space planning with drainage and civil engineering design: this enables us to develop cost-effective and sustainable solutions for flood prevention. We bring a high level of expertise in soil management to the table. Through early-stage cut-and-fill planning, soil transport is significantly reduced and on-site reuse is maximized, leading to cost savings and optimized construction schedules.

Of course, upon request, our planning can also be carried out using BIM, which allows for the efficient integration of clash detection.

In addition, we can provide in-house lighting design calculations for outdoor facilities—both functional (e.g., path and plaza lighting) and aesthetic, such as ambient lighting or facade illumination.
