Nuclear and radiochemistry researcher at the Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority. Expertise in radiochemical separation, NORM, radioactive waste, environmental radioactivity and nuclear safety. Interested in international MSCA research collaboration.
We, at the Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority, are dedicated to advancing the peaceful use of nuclear energy and technology in Egypt. Our organization focuses on research, development, and the application of nuclear science across various sectors, including energy production, medical services, and agriculture. We collaborate with international institutions to enhance our capabilities and ensure the safety and security of nuclear applications. Through our efforts, we aim to support sustainable development and contribute to the nation's scientific progress.
I am a researcher at the Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority with a PhD in Chemistry specializing in Nuclear and Radiochemistry. My research activities focus on radiochemical separation, inorganic and analytical chemistry, radionuclide characterization, NORM, radioactive waste management, environmental radioactivity, and nuclear safety.
My research experience includes solvent extraction, precipitation, chromatography and extraction chromatography, alpha- and gamma-ray spectrometry, adsorption processes, sample preparation, experimental optimization, and analysis of chemical and radiological data. I have experience in independent research, scientific publication, research reporting, and international scientific collaboration.
My current research interests include the development of improved approaches for radionuclide separation and characterization, treatment and management of NORM-contaminated materials, environmental radioactivity assessment, radioactive waste management, and the application of inorganic and analytical chemistry to nuclear and environmental challenges.
I am interested in developing international research collaborations within the MSCA framework, particularly interdisciplinary projects connecting radiochemistry, inorganic chemistry, environmental chemistry, analytical chemistry, radioactive waste management, and nuclear safety.
