Seeking Host Institution / Project Collaboration in Radiochemistry & Nuclear Safety

Ehab M. Abdel Rahman

Researcher / Principal Investigator – Nuclear & Radiochemistry at Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority

Cairo, Egypt

About

I am seeking a host institution, academic supervisor, or consortium for collaborative research opportunities, including Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships, Horizon Europe initiatives, and international joint research projects. With over 10 years of professional and regulatory experience at the Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority (EAEA) and the Egyptian Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority (ENRRA), I bring expertise in: - Radiochemical separation and purification (solvent extraction, extraction chromatography, ion exchange). - Alpha and high-resolution gamma spectrometry for environmental radioanalysis. - Radiation protection, operational reactor safety (ETRR-2), and NORM/radioactive waste management. - Climate-change resilience of nuclear installations (Chief Scientific Investigator for IAEA CRP J72007). I am eager to contribute my technical background, publication record, and international network to innovative projects focusing on environmental radioactivity, nuclear fuel-cycle safety, radioanalytical science, or decommissioning management. Open to hosting offers, joint proposals, and collaborative consortium partnerships across European research organizations and universities.
