About
I am seeking collaborations with researchers, universities, research institutes, NGOs, and conservation organisations interested in developing Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship proposals and other Horizon Europe initiatives. My research focuses on understanding human–wildlife interactions, protected area governance, community-based conservation, conservation policy, ecosystem resilience, and biodiversity conservation using interdisciplinary approaches that integrate ecological, social, and spatial analyses.
I offer extensive experience in designing and implementing interdisciplinary conservation research across Africa, with expertise in field ecology, conservation social science, stakeholder engagement, spatial analysis (GIS), and quantitative data analysis using R and SPSS. My work has resulted in more than 40 peer-reviewed publications and successful collaborations with international universities, government agencies, and conservation organisations.
I am particularly interested in collaborating on projects related to biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, nature-based solutions, ecosystem restoration, sustainable protected area management, conservation governance, One Health, and the application of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and geospatial tools, to address complex conservation challenges.
I welcome opportunities to co-develop innovative research proposals, exchange knowledge across disciplines, supervise early-career researchers, and build long-term international partnerships that generate scientific evidence for policy and practice while supporting sustainable development in Africa and globally.
