About
How do the new autocracies and hybrid regimes of the 21st century deal with cultural policies and cultural affairs? This project proposes an exploratory comparative study of the cultural policies of new autocratic and hybrid regimes of the 21st century from a theoretical perspective focused on the relation between culture and politics (Von Beyme 2014) or art and politics (Preda 2017) and the new institutionalism of authoritarian regimes (Schedler 2009).
