About
We are a multidisciplinary team of researchers dedicated to developing eco-friendly alternatives to conventional agrochemicals through the design and application of microbial-enriched organic products. Our work focuses on harnessing the potential of beneficial microorganisms, such as plant-growth-promoting bacteria, fungi, and yeasts, to enhance crop productivity, improve soil health, and control plant diseases in a sustainable manner.
Our research spans from lab-based molecular and physiological studies to greenhouse and field-scale trials, ensuring that the developed products align with the needs of farmers and the agroindustry. We aim to contribute to a more resilient and sustainable food production system by promoting biologically-based technologies.
We are currently seeking to join a European research consortium focused on sustainable agriculture, microbial biotechnology, or related fields, with the aim of participating in MSCA Staff Exchange Programme. We are particularly interested in collaborative opportunities that promote knowledge transfer and long-term cooperation across research institutions and sectors.
