About
Virtual Environments for Rehabilitation is an innovative digital product designed to enhance physiotherapy practice, education, and patient engagement through immersive online tools. Developed within Erasmus+ projects such as e-KNE, E-Med-Skills, and the CBHE initiative e-PHYSIO, this virtual platform brings together evidence-based rehabilitation protocols, multimedia learning resources, and interactive case-based scenarios.
The environment enables physiotherapy students, educators, and clinicians to deliver and experience structured online rehabilitation programs across orthopaedics, neurology, cardiorespiratory care, and rheumatology. Users can access guided video demonstrations, clinical simulations, and customizable treatment flows tailored to individual patient needs.
Built to support tele-rehabilitation, the platform allows practitioners to communicate clearly, track patient progress, and provide personalized digital care. At the same time, it enhances digital literacy and competency among students and professionals through a modern, user-friendly interface.
This product aims to foster innovation in rehabilitation, promote digital transformation in higher education, and support inclusive, accessible, and high-quality care delivery across diverse healthcare settings.
