my re-HUB

my re-HUB is a community-based digital rehabilitation model designed to bring physiotherapy closer to people living in rural, remote and underserved areas.

The concept addresses an important challenge in rehabilitation which is people that may have a clinical need for physiotherapy but face barriers such as geographical distance, limited local services, mobility difficulties, travel costs or difficulties maintaining regular follow-up.

my re-HUB creates a bridge between local communities and physiotherapy expertise, combining community-based access points with digital physiotherapy and remote support. This allows people to access assessment, personalised rehabilitation and ongoing follow-up without requiring frequent travel to larger urban centres.

The model is designed to work through partnerships with local organisations, healthcare providers and technology partners, creating a flexible pathway that can adapt to the needs and resources of different communities.

A key focus is not simply providing remote consultations, but developing a more connected and patient-centred rehabilitation pathway that supports continuity, self-management and engagement throughout the rehabilitation journey.

The approach has already been explored in real-world community settings in Greece, providing a foundation for further validation, scaling and adaptation to other underserved regions.

my re-HUB is currently seeking healthcare organisations, municipalities, researchers, technology companies and European partners interested in piloting, evaluating and developing accessible models of digital and community-based rehabilitation.
