Digital Social Prescribing & Wellbeing Platform – Technology and Research Partners Wanted

At WoodChill we provide nature-based wellbeing programmes here in Wales and are developing services that can sit within social prescribing pathways, supporting people before, alongside and beyond traditional healthcare.

We see a real opportunity to improve how community and non-clinical interventions are referred into, tracked and evidenced.

We want to develop a digital social prescribing and wellbeing platform that connects healthcare, community organisations and wellbeing providers.

The platform could support digital referrals, attendance and engagement tracking, simple before-and-after wellbeing measures and longer-term follow-up, helping partners understand what difference an intervention has made and what happens after someone is referred.

The aim is not simply to create a booking app, but to create a system that helps demonstrate what works, for whom, and the wider impact of community-based interventions.

WoodChill would provide a real-world environment in which the solution could be developed and piloted.

We are particularly looking to connect with:

• A digital or technology partner to help develop the platform

• A university or research partner to support outcome measurement and evaluation

• Healthcare and social prescribing partners to help shape and test the referral pathway

The longer-term ambition is for the platform to be usable by other community wellbeing providers working within social prescribing pathways, creating a clearer connection between healthcare referrals, community intervention and measurable outcomes.
