Founder of a Swiss deep-tech startup developing rad-hard semiconductors GaN SiP modules for space-grade power systems: DC–DC, motor drives, wireless charging.
Smartech Microelectronics is a Swiss deep-tech startup specializing in advanced GaN (Gallium Nitride) System-in-Package (SiP) modules for space-grade power electronics. Our solutions combine high-performance GaN transistors with integrated HV-CMOS drivers in compact SMT-compatible formats, enabling superior SWaP-C² performance.
We develop radiation-hardened power building blocks for DC–DC converters, motor drives, LiDARs, and wireless charging systems, tailored to the harsh requirements of LEO/GEO satellites, rovers, payloads, and avionics systems. Our technology addresses the needs of future space missions in terms of:
Efficiency & miniaturization, Radiation tolerance, High switching frequency, Thermal robustness, Compact SMT packaging with space-qualified design
We are open to collaboration with ESA projects, research institutes, and system integrators to co-develop tailored GaN SiP solutions or join joint R&D efforts.
