About
Aragón Photonics (https://aragonphotonics.com) is a Spanish SME with experience in developing national and European R&D projects. For 10 years, it has been working on proprietary equipment and solutions in distributed acoustic sensing (DAS).
We are looking to join European projects such as Layered critical seabed infrastructure protection EDF-2026-RA-SI-UWW-CSBI-STEP
In this project, our solution can effectively help detect and identify natural, anthropogenic or any other type of noise source in the underwater environment.
Although DAS technology has been around for a few years, its use in marine biosystems and, in general, for capturing acoustic signals and vibrations in this environment still has a long way to go in terms of R&D, especially in the development of methods for analysing and interpreting the signals obtained by the interrogator.
We believe that these aspects, combined with our extended experience in the installation and management of submarine cable infrastructure, can add value to a consortium in this field.
We are willing to join as a partner or to evaluate the option of being a subcontractor.
