About

TÜPRAŞ is interested in joining collaborative R&D consortia focused on smart sensing, photonics-based monitoring, and AI-enabled industrial optimization.

As the largest refining company in Türkiye, TÜPRAŞ can contribute as an industrial end-user by providing real refinery use-cases, operational constraints, and high-quality process data from complex conversion units.

Our role in such projects would include:
• Defining industrial challenges and validation environments
• Supplying real operational datasets from refinery processes
• Developing chemometric and machine learning models for prediction and monitoring
• Supporting pilot demonstrations and performance evaluation in industrial conditions

Key application areas of interest include thermal cracking furnaces, coil temperature prediction, coking tendency monitoring, energy efficiency improvement, and predictive maintenance.
