We kindly invite you to an international online brokerage event designed to support consortium building for upcoming Horizon Europe, Digital Europe and Creative Europe calls related to photonics technologies. The event combines information sessions, project showcases, pitching, one-to-one matchmaking to facilitate targeted collaboration among research, industry, public sector and innovation support stakeholders.

The event is suitable for anyone with interest in the forthcoming Horizon Europe projects:

• Universities. 

• Research and technology organizations 

• Private companies (including SMEs and large companies). 

• Public bodies 

• Associations/Federations. 

• Experts on social sciences and humanities. 

• NGOs. 

• Clusters, Hubs. 

• Other R&D stakeholders. 

 Future coordinators and interested partners from all European Member States or HE associated countries are encouraged to attend the event.

The event will provide you with the opportunity to: 

• Discuss and refine your project ideas with potential partners. 

• Build collaborations and join consortia. 

When registering, please, select the topics of your interest and include at least one Project Cooperation in the Marketplace section with information on what expertise you are offering or are looking for against the topic(s) of your interest.

• Matchmaking - how it works?

  Attending a brokerage event offers a convenient and efficient method to connect with potential partners for collaboration.

  15 minutes run fast, but they are crucial for building initial connections as they provide a targeted way to meet potential collaboration partners, allowing participants to quickly evaluate each other's interests and expertise, and identify common goals and synergies.

  1. Register for the event

     Register via the Register button.

  2. Create your profile to showcase who you are and for what are you looking for

     Create a clear and concise profile to raise your visibility on the b2match platform.

     Your profile should describe who you are, what you can offer to potential partners, and who you want to meet. Don’t forget to add a pitch, biography, your skills and interests to your profile. A good networking profile will generate significantly more meeting requests.

  3. Browse profiles of attendees

     Go to the participants list to find out who you could meet at the event and who is offering interesting and promising business opportunities. Use the filters on the right or browse and find the most suitable collaboration partners that match your goals and interests. This allows you to maximize your chances of making valuable connections and achieving successful outcomes at the event.

  4. Send & receive meeting requests and messages

     Browse participant profiles and send meeting requests to those you want to meet during the event. Send out messages to interesting participants to introduce yourself and initiate conversations even before the event to establish stronger connections.

  5. My schedule and meetings overview

     Access your meetings in My Schedule or Meetings, where you have your complete schedule for the event, as well as the list of your meetings. If it is a virtual meeting, check your camera and microphone before joining, and don't be late!

• This event takes place online. 

• Participation in the event is free of charge. 

• The individuals with an active account in the B2match system can participate in the Horizon4Photonics event. 

• Account activation will be made by the Organizers.
