About

The team of specialists from the MST Department at NURE is open to collaboration on projects involving the creation of intelligent Phygital-publications (maps, guides, information stands, and catalogs) that integrate print media with "smart city" digital infrastructure using AR/VR, WebXR, and AI technologies. The content adapts to the time, geolocation, and environmental conditions.

Key products and solutions:

  1. Exhibition models for museums: transforming printed catalogs and posters into a "portal" for 3D reconstructions of artifacts and AR exhibits. Leveraging computer vision and semantic segmentation, the system applies intelligent color correction that preserves the authenticity of artworks on smartphone screens.

  2. Digital Twins: Integration of WebXR/WebGPU 3D models of buildings and infrastructure into printed city maps, eliminating the need to download apps. It enables the display of IoT sensor data (environmental conditions, energy efficiency) and the visualization of the historical transformation of structures.

  3. Virtual Stop: Transforming a physical timetable or information board into an interactive hub. Through AR, the user gains access to real-time 3D route visualizations, adaptive suggestions (based on weather or traffic conditions), and spatial displays of local events within walking distance.

  4. Smart Heritage AR — the city's digital history. It involves creating an AR system that transforms historical buildings, monuments, and city squares into interactive access points for historical content. Using a smartphone, users can view reconstructions of sites, vintage photographs, 3D models, and historical events.

  5. AR Public Art. A platform for digitally enhancing urban art. Murals, sculptures, and installations gain an AR layer featuring animation, sound, 3D objects, and information about the artist.

The team's technology stack includes artificial intelligence (semantic segmentation, classification), color harmonization algorithms, generative AI, and the creation of cross-platform 3D/AR content for browsers.

Collaboration formats: We invite city councils, museums, transport operators, and developers to jointly develop R&D projects, implement pilot AR installations, or integrate our AI-driven content adaptation engine into existing urban services.
